Norman Charles Roettger, Jr. (1930-2003) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Roettger was nominated by President Richard Nixon on April 13, 1972, to a seat vacated by Ted Cabot; he was confirmed by the Senate on May 31, 1972, and received commission on June 2. He served as chief judge from 1991 until he assumed senior status on June 17, 1997. He served until his death on July 26, 2003. Roettger was succeeded in this position by William Dimitrouleas.
