Norman Solomon
Norman Solomon was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of California.
In February 2012, the grassroots organization Democracy for America, founded by Howard Dean, named Solomon one of the top 10 progressive candidates in the 2012 U.S. House races.[1]
Career
Solomon is an educator on media, politics, foreign policy and public affairs.[2] He is the co-founder of the media watchdog group Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting (FAIR).[2]
Elections
2012
Solomon ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent California's 2nd District. He was defeated in the open primary on June 5, 2012.[3][4]
