The Republican Party of North Carolina is the North Carolina political party affiliate of the national Republican Party. The group is headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The party is composed of a governing body and numerous committees.[1]
Party chair
Jason Simmons was elected to the remainder of a two-year term as chairman in 2024.[2]
Simmons is a veteran Republican operative and was the North Carolina state director for Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign.[3]
Party leadership
As of April 2024, the executive director of the North Carolina Republican Party was vacant as the previous executive director, Jason Simmons, was elected to chair.[4]
