Parental Rights/Education. Our children do not belong to the Government or the schools, as the beginning of this sentence states they are our children! As such, it is a parents honor, duty, and responsibility to monitor what is being taught and what indoctrination is being implemented. School choice for every one, and employment of true meritocratic principles are critical.

Law and order/Equal Justice Our men and women in Blue are the thin blue line between civilization and chaos. They are under attack from the forces working to destroy our country. Secondly we must stringently enforce equality under the law, it has to apply equally to everyone irrespective of race, creed, color, gender, or even political party.

Economy Right now North Carolinians are being decimated by national policies that seem almost to be a direct attack on our lives. Inflation and taxes seem targeted specifically to the lower and middle income families, causing those who used to survive from paycheck to paycheck, having to worry now about a day to day existence. I will work to reestablish the balance of power of the original Constitution bringing the power for decisions back to the state in order to be more responsive to the needs of the people of North Carolina. No legislation should be passes unless it increases the ability of NC to create and keep more jobs and money in our pockets. I am going to push the legislature to reduce burdensome regulations and taxes.
I believe doing things the same way does not fix a broken system. The government does not have the right to tell you what to do with your body, vaccination or abortion. How about a new idea, In-Utero adoption, where the mother is put in touch with an adoption agency and the baby is adopted before it is born. This would allow the adoptive parents the ability to help where ever necessary to save that baby's life, medical expenses, monthly stipend, school expenses, what ever is required. This would give the mother better choices when she is faced with literally life and death decision, and she can know the baby will be well cared for. The Federal Government is out of control, per the U. S. Constitution they have a limited number of enumerated powers and everything else is supposed to be handled at the state level. The state governments are supposed to be the ones to keep the federal in check and they have been doing a horrendous job. Bringing education, welfare, health care, applicable regulations back to the state level would mean that each individual would have greater control of the things that impact their daily lives This would also put an end to the hideous bureaucracy, abuse of power, and corruption that IS FCZWAN our federal government.
Innovative. I have ideas on new ways of doing things that is exemplified by my success with the Bosnian Airlift and my patent for a new type of internal combustion engine for light aircraft.
I want to fix our broken government and bring it back as intended, a government for the people, by the people.
I believe the state legislature should have 30 days to ratify all executive orders. You should never have an instance where one person is responsible for changing the direction of the will of the people. In addition that should possibly apply to decisions by the State Supreme court if the decision falls exactly on party lines, as an example our voter ID law passed the state by a 67% margin and the Supreme Court overruled the will of the people.
