Eight statewide ballot measures were on the June 14 and November 8, 1988 ballots in North Dakota.
- Five of the measure were legislatively referred constitutional amendments.
- One of the measures was a veto referendum.
- One of the measures was an initiated constitutional amendment.
- One of the measures was an initiated state statute.
- Two of the measures were approved and six were defeated.
