The North Dakota Authorize Live Internet Poker Amendment was not on the ballot in North Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment on November 8, 2022.

This amendment would have required the North Dakota State Legislature to authorize and regulate live internet poker.[1]

To put a legislatively referred constitutional amendment before voters, a simple majority vote is required in both the North Dakota State Senate and the North Dakota House of Representatives.

This amendment was introduced as House Concurrent Resolution 3012 on January 14, 2021. The House approved the amendment in a vote of 54-40 on February 23, 2021. Among House Republicans, 47 voted in favor and 33 voted against. Among House Democrats, seven voted in favor and seven voted against. The amendment was not passed in the second chamber before the legislature adjourned on April 30, 2021.[1]
