North Dakota County Official Term Lengths, Initiative 2 (1962)
The North Dakota County Official Term Lengths Initiative, also known as Initiative 2, was on the November 6, 1962 ballot in North Dakota as an initiated constitutional amendment, where it was approved.[1] The measure changed the terms of office from two to four years for the following county officials: Register of Deeds, Auditor, Treasurer, Sheriff, State's Attorney, County Judge and Clerk of District Court.[2][3]
