North Dakota Cross Ranch Veterans Memorial Park Referendum, Measure 8 (1980)

The North Dakota Cross Ranch Veterans Memorial Park Referendum, also known as Measure 8, was on the September 2, 1980 ballot in North Dakota as a veto referendum, where it was defeated.[1][2] The measure would have appropriated money to the Parks and Recreation Department for the acquisition of the cross ranch and other land for a veterans memorial state park.[3]
