The North Dakota Department of Labor Creation Referendum, also known as Amendment 1, was on the June 28, 1960 ballot in North Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.[1][2] The measure authorized the North Dakota State Legislature to create a separate Department of Labor. It was previously part of the Department of Agriculture.[3]
