North Dakota Five-Man Train Crew, Initiative 4 (1964)

The North Dakota Five-Man Train Crew Initiative, also known as Initiative 4, was on the November 3, 1964 ballot in North Dakota as an initiated state statute, where it was defeated.[1] The measure would have required five man crew on trains over one half mile long and a crew of at least five to conduct switching operations in municipalities.[2][3]
