The North Dakota Healthcare Education Program, also known as Measure 8, was on the December 5, 1989 ballot in North Dakota as a veto referendum, where it was defeated.[1] The measure would have provided for a comprehensive health education program to promote public health and public health awareness.[2]

Text of measure
The measure's defeat disapproved House Bill Number 1604 of the 51st Legislative Assembly.[2]
