The North Dakota Leasing of State Lands Referendum was on the March 16, 1920 ballot in North Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.[1] The measure gave the state legislature the authority to lease state lands otherwise designated for educational or charitable purposes. These lands could only be leased for pasture and meadow purposes at public auctions.[2]
