North Dakota Legislative Assembly Terms Referendum, Number 3 (1968)

The North Dakota Legislative Assembly Terms Referendum, also known as Number 3, was on the September 3, 1968 ballot in North Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.[1] The measure stipulated the terms of legislative members begin on the first day of December following their election or at such other time as may be prescribed by law. It also stipulated that following an election, the members should meet in December for an organizational meeting day that does not count as part of the 60 legislative days.[2]
