North Dakota Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Rate, Measure 3 (1989)

The North Dakota Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Rate Referendum, also known as Measure 3, was on the December 5, 1989 ballot in North Dakota as a veto referendum, where it was defeated.[1] The measure would have provided an increase in the rate of motor vehicle fuel and special fuel taxes.[2]

Text of measure
The defeat of the measure repealed sections 2 and 3 of Senate Bill Number 2029 of the Fifty-first Legislative Assembly.[2]
