The North Dakota Rural Roads Gas Tax Initiative, also known as Initiative 3, was on the November 2, 1954 ballot in North Dakota as an initiated state statute, where it was defeated.[1] The measure provided for an additional one cent non-refundable motor vehicle fuel tax for rural roads.[2]
