North Dakota Special Gasoline Tax, Referendum 1 (1950)

The North Dakota Special Gasoline Tax, also known as Referendum 1, was on the June 27, 1950 ballot in North Dakota as a veto referendum, where it was defeated.[1] The measure would have created an additional two-cent tax per gallon of motor vehicle fuels to fund the special county and state high way construction funds.[2]
