North Dakota State Apportionment and Transition Schedule Referendum, Amendment 2 (1978)

The North Dakota State Apportionment and Transition Schedule Referendum, also known as Amendment 2, was on the September 5, 1978 ballot in North Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.[1] The measure repealed the constitutional sections regarding the transition schedule of the Constitution of the State of North Dakota and reinstated the original congressional and legislative apportionment of the state and to the transition of governmental functions from territorial government to state government.[2]
