The North Dakota State Property Tax Authority Referendum, also known as Amendment 2, was on the September 2, 1980 ballot in North Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.[1] The measure prohibited the legislative assembly from levying a tax on the assessed value of real or personal property.[2]
