Cleary plans to bring conservative North Dakota values to the Legislature, where he will fight for increased transparency and responsiveness to taxpayers.

Cleary will focus on growing our economy through providing better educational opportunities, lowering taxes, and advocating for increased investment in North Dakota.

Cleary has a history of advocating for North Dakotans at the state and federal levels, and will use that experience to serve his district and state.
Cleary is passionate about making sure North Dakota is always a great place to live, work, and raise a family. This means supporting policies that empower individuals and families, grow our economy, and provide good-paying jobs. He believes this isn't done through a top-down approach, but rather through policies that empower people to make the best decisions for themselves and their families. He is a strong proponent of boosting our education system to prepare students for the jobs of tomorrow and believes that economic growth comes through entrepreneurship and innovation, not regulation.
Economic growth should never be taken for granted, especially in a rural state like ours. We need to make sure North Dakota is always a place that people want to stay and others want to move to. We can do this by harnessing our natural resources, creating a tax and regulatory environment where businesses want to invest and workers keep more of their paycheck and investing smartly in our priorities to prepare for the challenges of the future, not the past.
