The North Dakota Suspension of Tax Measures Referendum, also known as Measure 1, was on the November 8, 1988 ballot in North Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated.[1] The measure would have not suspended the operation of a tax measure that has been referred to a vote until it has been voted upon.[2]
