A North Douglas Fire/EMS Operation Levy measure was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Douglas County, which is in Oregon, where it was approved.
This measure authorized the North Douglas Fire/EMS District to renew a property tax of $0.99 per $1,000 of assessed valuation for five years to fund operating expenses and the replacement of vehicles and equipment including two fire engines, one water tender, one rescue truck, a brush truck and an ambulance. The estimated revenue from this tax according to the county assessor is %268,569 in 2013/2014, $267,626 in 2014/2015, $284,925 in 2015/2016, $293,473 in 2016/2017 and $302,227 in 2017/2018.[1]
