Governor

The Governor of the Northern Mariana Islands is an elected constitutional officer, the head of the executive branch and the highest territory office in the Northern Mariana Islands. This office is elected every four years by popular vote.[1]
Lieutenant governor
- Main article: Lieutenant Governor of the Northern Mariana Islands
The Lieutenant Governor of the Northern Mariana Islands is an elected constitutional officer, the second-ranking officer of the executive branch, and the first officer in line to succeed the Governor of the Northern Mariana Islands. The lieutenant governor is popularly elected every four years on a joint ticket with the governor.[1]
