A Northfield Village Home Rule Question was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the village of Northfield, which is in Cook County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 1,425 (54.79%)Approveda
  • NO 1,176 (45.21%)[1]

This measure asked residents if they wanted to become a Home Rule municipality.[2] Opponents to the measure saw this as just a way to add more taxes to residents as well as fees and other higher money problems that would come with being an incorporated village.[3]
