A Norwich Township Levy proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Missaukee County, which is in Michigan, where it was defeated.
If approved, this proposal would have authorized the Norwich Township to levy a property tax of 1 mill ($1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for 4 years in order to fund the road maintenance and construction. The estimated first year revenue from this tax is $27,066.[1]

“ | Shall the Township of Norwich, Missaukee County, Michigan, be authorized to levy 1 mill ($1 per $1,000 of taxable value) upon the Taxable and Real and Personal Property within the Township of Norwich for a period of 4 years (2012-2015 inclusive) for the purpose of road maintenance and construction?
If approved and levied in it's entirety this millage would raise an estimated $27,066.00[1][2] |
