November 5, 2019 ballot measures in Washington

Ballotpedia covered one local measure on the ballot for voters in King County on November 5, 2019. The measure, which concerned a property tax levy renewal to fund emergency medical services, was approved.

There were also 15 statewide measures on the ballot. Twelve of the 15 measures were tax advisory votes were on the ballot. These were nonbinding questions that advised the legislature to repeal or maintain bills passed in the 2019 legislative session that increased taxes. Voters voted in favor of advising the legislature to maintain three bills and repeal the other nine. I-976 and SJR 8200 were approved and R-88 was rejected.

Proposition 1: King County Emergency Medical Services Property Tax Levy Renewal Approveda

A yes vote was a vote in favor of renewing regular property taxes of $0.265 or less per $1,000 of assessed property valuation for six years to fund emergency medical services.
A no vote was a vote against renewing regular property taxes of $0.265 or $1,000 of property valuation for six years to fund emergency medical services.
