November 7, 2017 ballot measures in California
Twenty counties in California featured a total of 62 ballot measures for local voters on November 7, 2017. Los Angeles County’s ballot featured the highest number of measures at 11, followed by San Mateo County at eight measures and Riverside County at six measures.
Of the 62 local measures in California, 15 were sales tax measures, 14 were parcel tax measures, seven were marijuana business tax measures, and six were bond issues. The remaining 20 measures ranged from a rent control measure for the city of Pacifica in San Mateo County to a charter amendment for increasing the salaries of the mayor and city council of Compton in Los Angeles County.
