Novinger City Collector Election Question (April 2012)

A Novinger City Collector Election Question was on the April 3, 2012 ballot in the city of Novinger which is in Adair County.
This measure was approved.[1]
This measure sought to allow the position of Collector to be hired by the city council instead of elected. City officials said that having the position hired would allow for more diverse candidates as well as potential officeholders from outside the city.[2]
