Nuria Saenz was a county judge for the Miami-Dade County Court in Miami-Dade County, Florida.[1] She joined the court in 2005.[2] Saenz was defeated in her bid for re-election to the court on August 26, 2014, and left the bench at the end of her term in 2014.[3][4]

Saenz ran for re-election to the Miami-Dade County Court.
Primary: She was defeated in the primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 36.3 percent of the vote. She competed against Victoria Ferrer.Saenz was supported by a political action committee created by Miami’s United Auto Insurance which spent over $300,000 between her campaign and the campaign of 11th Circuit Judge Rodney Smith.[3][4]

Saenz earned her undergraduate degree, graduating cum laude, from Barry University in 1992 and her J.D. degree from the St. Thomas University School of Law in 1997.[2]
