Three of nine at-large seats on the Perth Amboy Public Schools Board of Education were up for general election on November 3, 2015.[4] The seats of incumbents William Ortiz, Kenneth Puccio and Obdulia Gonzalez were on the ballot.[5]
Ortiz did not file to run for re-election, guaranteeing at least one newcomer would join the board. Puccio and Gonzalez won re-election, and former board member Anton Massopust was elected to the third seat on the ballot. The three of them ran as the candidate slate "Together for Quality Schools."[3]They defeated challengers Annette De Mendonca and Junior Iglesia.[2]

Gonzalez ran as part of the "Together for Quality Schools" slate, which reported $1,153.00 in contributions and $0.00 in expenditures to the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission in the election.[3]
The first campaign finance reporting deadline was October 5, 2015. Candidates had to file another report on October 23, 2015, and the last report was due November 23, 2015.[6]
