|- I want to expand Head Start (HCDE pre-K program) throughout the county so more families can participate
- We're not reaching enough students through our after school programs, I'd like to see the Center for Afterschool, Summer, and Enrichment at least double the number of children it sees from 12,000 to 24,000
- Students need a safe place to go to talk about their personal problems and learn how to cope with life problems. We need to increase the number of in-school therapists to be able to do that.
