An Ocean City-Wright Fire Control District Levy Limitation Increase question is on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Okaloosa County, which is in Florida, where it was approved.
This question increased the limitation on property tax in the Ocean City-Wright Fire Control District by 1.75 mills ($1.75 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) from 2 mills to 3.75 mills in order to maintain the current services of the District. The approval of the question would not mean an immediate increase in the actual property tax levy.[1]

Language on the ballot:
| “ | In order to operate and maintain the Ocean City-Wright Fire Control District’s current Facilities, Fire Rescue Services and Advanced Life Support Services for the citizens of the District, shall the District be allowed to increase the millage cap from the current rate of 2.0 mills, approved in 1979, to 3.75 mills as authorized by Chapter 191, Florida Statutes. This change in no way means the District will immediately raise the current millage to the cap.
