Odenwald elected chief judge of eastern district

Missouri: Judge Kurt S. Odenwald was elected chief judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals Eastern District unanimously by the judges of the court.

Odenwald was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He received a B.A. degree from the University of Missouri at St. Louis and a J.D. degree from St. Louis University School of Law. He has worked as a private practice lawyer, a staff attorney for the St. Louis Office of Public Defender, and Associate General Counsel for Anheuser-Busch, Inc. He was appointed to the Court of Appeals in 2007.[1]

His term began on July 1, 2011.[2]
