Two Odessa School District Levy Replacement measures were on the February 14, 2012 ballot in the Odessa school district area of Adams, Grant and Lincoln Counties.
The first measure sought to replace the current school levy with one set at a rate of $3.98 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further one year in order to pay for general fund maintenance and operational costs in the district.
The second measure sought to levy an additional tax set at a rate of $.63 per $1,000 of assessed property value year in order to pay for school modernization with health and safety improvements in the district.[1]

The question on the ballot:
| Proposition 1:Shall an excess levy of $698,000 be collected in the year 2013, requiring approximately $3.98 per $1,000 of assessed valuation, for Maintenance and Operation of Odessa School District No. 105, Lincoln County, joint with No. 157, Adams County and No. 166J, Grant County?
Proposition 2: Shall an excess levy of $110,000 be collected in the year 2013, requiring approximately $0.63 per $1,000 of assessed valuation for the modernization of school facilities by making health, safety and energy efficiency improvements to school facilities of Odessa School District No. 105, Lincoln County, joint with No. 157, Adams County and No. 166J, Grant County?[3] |
