Ohio's 17th Congressional District
The 17th Congressional District of Ohio was a congressional district that was eliminated in the 2010 Census redistricting process. During the 2010 redistricting process, Ohio had two seats in the U.S. House taken away due to population changes across the country. The 17th Congressional District ceased to exist following the 2012 elections.
The final representative of the 17th Congressional District was Tim Ryan (D).

On November 2, 2010, Tim Ryan won re-election to the United States House of Representatives. He defeated Jim Graham and James A. Traficant, Jr. in the general election.[1]
