The Ohio Control of Corporations Amendment, also known as Amendment 4, was on the October 13, 1857 ballot in Ohio as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was defeated. The measure would have allowed the general assembly to enact special laws for the relief of corporations in certain cases.[1]
