This measure was not put on an election ballot |
The Ohio Initiative Reform Referendum did not appear on the November 2013 ballot in the state of Ohio as a veto referendum. The referendum would have submitted SB 47 to a statewide vote. SB 47 revises the initiative and referendum process, generally making it more difficult to achieve ballot access.
Path to the ballot
The bill was signed into law on March 22, 2013. This gave referendum supporters ninety days from that date to submit 231,149 signatures to the Ohio secretary of state's office. According to the Ballot Board posted on the Secretary of State's website, the referendum did not make the 2013 ballot.
