I believe that Ohioans deserve to live in a district that they can proudly call home—a community that is safe, welcoming, and values people.

I believe that our children are our future. They too are valuable members of our community. Adequately educating them is all about understanding what they need to succeed both today and tomorrow.

I believe that economic success is vital to ensuring the overall success of the community. Lowering taxes, reducing government spending, and fostering a climate for economic growth is essential to ensuring our community thrives.

While in office, I will practice servant leadership--the idea that what we should expect from our elected leaders is not just the will and foresight to achieve what is best for the community but the commitment to ultimately serve people and serve them well.
The core responsibility for someone elected to office is to serve people and serve them well. I believe the best way to do that is to practice servant leadership.
My first job was with the United States Army as a commissioned Officer. I served on Active Duty for approx. 3 years and 7 months.
As the chief executive of the state, the governor is responsible for overseeing the operation of the state executive branch as well as implementing state laws. The state legislature is responsible for drafting and passing state laws; representing and helping their constituency; and providing oversight of the executive branch.
