The Oklahoma Constitutional Reserve Fund Deposit Cap Increase Amendment was not on the ballot in Oklahoma as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment on November 8, 2022.
The ballot measure would have increased the cap on the amount of excess revenue that can be deposited into the Constitutional Reserve Fund from 15% to 25% of the amount certified for the general fund for the last fiscal year.[1]
Passage of the ballot measure would have been contingent upon voter approval of the Oklahoma Taxpayer Allocation Program Fund Amendment.[1]

In Oklahoma, a constitutional amendment requires a simple majority vote in both chambers of the Oklahoma State Legislature.
On March 21, 2022, the state Senate voted 36-11 to approve the constitutional amendment.[1]
The measure was not passed in the opposite chamber before the legislature adjourned the 2022 legislative session on May 27, 2022.[2]
