A primary election took place on June 26, 2018, and a primary runoff took place on August 28, 2018.[1] Democrats use a hybrid primary and Republicans use a closed primary. The general election was held on November 6, 2018. The candidate filing deadline was April 13, 2018.[2]

In the 2018 elections, Republicans increased their majority in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 72-27 to 76-25.
