Ballot title

The ballot title for State Question 515 was as follows:

Shall a Constitutional Amendment amending Section 4 of Article XXVII of the Constitution of the State of Oklahoma to permit the sale of alcoholic beverages by the drink for consumption on the premises of a hotel, motel, restaurant, or club when sold by a licensee authorized by the State to make such sale; and defining the term premises, be approved by the people?

In Oklahoma, the number of signatures required for an initiated constitutional amendment was equal to 15% of the votes cast in the last general election. In 2010, voters approved State Question 750, which changed the signature requirement to be based on the preceding gubernatorial election. A simple majority vote is required for voter approval.
