Neighbors and peers describe me as “dependable, level-headed, and earnest.” My balanced approach to collaborative decision making is a strength I would bring to elected office. I live in Jamestown and work remotely as a research coordinator. I enjoy local connections as a group fitness instructor, a Meals on Wheels volunteer, and a recent Kiwanis member.
  • As our region and state face unprecedented change, we need a leader who can think on her feet, integrate new perspectives as they arise, and be rooted in addressing on-the-ground needs and solutions.
  • I appreciate the many people working in education, agriculture, healthcare, local business, industry, and all sectors across District 12; I want to help diverse perspectives be better represented, heard, and acted upon in decision-making processes in Bismarck.
  • I am a candidate committed to civic engagement, dialogue around practical ideas, and connections across identities and generations.
Affordable housing, Comprehensive healthcare, Accessible childcare, Resilient food systems, Quality public education at all levels, Retention of human service providers, Workforce safety, Crop and livestock diversity and support for producers, Creative main street solutions
A variety of service learning and leadership experiences have shaped my communication, technical, and collaboration skills.
Fairly represent the diverse perspectives and daily realities of the constituents in our district; Proactively connect the local infrastructure, businesses, programs, and organizations of our community to resources from the state.
Nobody's Nobody by Brothers Osborne "...Sun goes up, sun goes down, takes all kinds of kinds, to make this world go 'round"
I'd be honored to serve with the members of the existing and growing Democratic-Non Partisan League legislative caucus. They are well-coordinated and committed to serving working families in North Dakota.
