- NO 4,501 (30.52%)[1]
This measure sought to replace the current school levy which is set to expire with one set at a rate of $3.11 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further four years in order to continue to pay for general education maintenance and operational costs in the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:
| The Board of Directors of Olympia School District No. 111 adopted Resolution No. 479 concerning a proposition to levy property taxes. This proposition authorizes the District to levy the following excess taxes, to replace an expiring levy, on all the taxable property within the District, to support the District's educational maintenance and operations: Collection years: 2013-2016; Approximate Levy Rate/$1,000 Assessed Value: $3.11, $3.17, $3.21, $3.22; Levy Amount: $21,980,000, $22,460,000, $22,960,000, $23,460,000. Should this proposition be approved?[3] |
