Two Orange City Municipal Election Revision Amendment questions are on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Volusia County, which is in Florida, where they were approved.
The first question amended the Orange City Charter in order to change election and qualifying dates to coincide with federal, state and county elections and to change the current terms of the City Council Members accordingly. This amendment is suggested in order to create economic efficiencies and increase voter turn-out.
The second question amended the Orange City Charter to revise the election system for the City Council in order to remove conflicts in the Charter.[1]
