Oregon Ballot Measure 124 (2008) was an initiated state statute, which would have expanded on medical marijuana laws Oregon.
The new statute would have established a licensed medical marijuana supply system. The proposal stated a regulated supply system would supplement Oregon's current system, which was approved by Oregon voters in 1998 and allowed patients to grow as many as six marijuana plants for personal use. The previous law allowed other approved individuals to grow marijuana for as many as four patients.[1]

Petitions for this initiative circulated, but it did not make the ballot.
