Oregon Courts informed of upcoming retirements, one new appointment made

Oregon: The Oregon Judiciary is facing a number of upcoming retirements this year. Justices Michael C. Sullivan of the Deschutes County Circuit Court, Stephen H. Tiktin of the Deschutes County Circuit Court, and Donald Hull of the Oregon 7th Judicial District have all announced their retirement or intention not to run for re-election in 2012.[1][2]

Former deputy district attorney in Washington County, Oregon Janelle F. Wipper was appointed by Governor John Kitzhaber to the Washington County Circuit Court. Wipper was sworn in by her predisecor and current United States District Court for the District of Oregon Judge Marco A. Hernandez.[3]
