The Oregon Display of Hospital Inpatient Services Prices Initiative, also known as Pricing Transparency In Hospitals, did not make the November 4, 2014 ballot as an initiated state statute. The measure would have required certain hospitals to display prices for specified inpatient services on websites and in hospitals.[1]
Support
Meg Niemi and Robert Sisk were the chief petitioners for the measure.[1]

The measure was submitted to the Oregon Secretary of State on January 3, 2014. The chief petitioners withdrew it on February 20, 2014. If the measure had gone forward, supporters would have been required to collect a minimum of 87,213 valid signatures by July 3, 2014 to place the measure on the ballot.[1]
