The Oregon Lottery Funds for Veterans Amendment, also known as Keeping Our Promise, did not make the November 4, 2014 ballot as an initiated constitutional amendment. The measure would have required five percent of the state lottery net proceeds to finance services fund for Oregon veterans.[1]

Julie Parrish and Martha Schrader were the chief petitioners for this measure.[1]
Path to the ballot
The measure was initially filed with the subject "Keeping Our Promise" on July 23, 2013 and numbered proposed initiative 24. The measure was with drawn by the chief petitioners on November 22, 2013. If the measure had gone forward, supporters would have had to collect a minimum of 116,284 valid signatures by July 3, 2014 to place the measure on the ballot.[1]
