Ballot title

The ballot title for Measure Nos. 322-323 was as follows:

BILL REGULATING SALE OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR FOR BEVERAGE PURPOSES - Purpose: Forbidding retail sale of alcoholic liquor for beverage purposes by others than the Oregon Liquor Control Commission; liquor permitted sold at wholesale only to such commission; permit required for retail purchase; upon filing of protest by member of immediate family of applicant for or holder of permit, commission forbidden to issue permit or sell such applicant liquor; giving anyone sustaining damage right of action against commission or anyone selling liquor contrary to this act to anyone causing damages while under liquor influence; requiring driver's license and liquor permit of anyone causing injury contributed to by liquor revoked for one year.
