Ballot title

The ballot title for Measure Nos. 340-341 was as follows:

Proposed by Initiative Petition

A bill for a law providing for the permanent support and maintenance of the Southern Oregon State Normal School at Ashland, Jackson county, Oregon, by levying one-twenty-fifth of a mill on the dollar on all taxable property in the State of Oregon therefor, and limiting instruction therein to those subjects promoting efficiency in the art of teaching. --- Vote YES or NO.
