The Oregon Nonprofit Hospital Executive Compensation Cap Initiative, also known as Caps On Executive Compensation, did not make the November 4, 2014 ballot as an initiated state statute. The measure would have limited nonprofit hospital executive compensation to 15 times the annual wage of the lowest paid employee in the hospital.[1]
Support
Carolyn Matthews and Marilyn Vigoren were the chief petitioners for the measure.[1]

The measure was submitted to the Oregon Secretary of State on January 2, 2014. The chief petitioners withdrew it on February 20, 2014. If the measure had gone forward, supporters would have been required to collect a minimum of 87,213 valid signatures by July 3, 2014 to place the measure on the ballot.[1]
